Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Counselling is a growing and highly valued industry, with an increasing need for skilled, reflective practitioners who can support wellbeing across a range of settings. South Staffordshire College has an excellent reputation for delivering high‑quality counselling qualifications that enable learners to progress confidently into the profession and further study.

We are now seeking a dynamic and committed individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of counselling programmes at Levels 2, 3 and 4.

This role involves teaching and assessing counselling qualifications at Levels 2, 3 and 4, inspiring learners from diverse backgrounds and supporting the development of professional skills, values and reflective practice. You will contribute to the growth of an ambitious counselling provision and work collaboratively to maintain high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.

The ideal candidate will have qualifications and experience in counselling, hold a relevant teaching qualification (or a willingness to work towards one), and demonstrate a strong commitment to learner progression, inclusive practice and professional standards. You will bring energy, empathy and enthusiasm to the classroom.

In return, SSC offers the opportunity to join a well‑regarded counselling provision with clear progression routes into a growing industry, work within a supportive and forward‑thinking team, make a meaningful impact on learners’ futures, and access ongoing professional development. If you are enthusiastic about counselling education and want to support learners on their journey into this rewarding profession, we would love to hear from you.
