Dr-Julian is an innovative online mental health care provider connecting individuals directly to highly trained qualified therapists seamlessly via video, audio and instant messaging. Our purpose is to empower individuals, enabling them to select a therapist of their choice and have an appointment at a time and place convenient for them.
Our therapists work in line with our Dr-Julian policies and procedures, from their private office or home study via our web app on their computer from across the UK. Our platform, accessible 24 hours a day, is highly secure and compliant with data protection requirements.

- 22.5 hours, part-time
- Competitive salary £45,000 - £47,000 per annum FTE (dependant on experience), pro rata for part-time

As a supervisor you will:
- Report into the Lead Clinical and Case Supervisor
- Provide Step 3 clinical and case management supervision
- Ensure supervisees work safely and professionally and adhere to NICE guidelines
- Liaise with partners services to support clinical delivery
- Contribute to a counselling specific CPD program and facilitate/provide CPD
- Contribute to the recruitment of counsellors
- Service development, clinical research, and audit
- Manage a small caseload of patients (Counselling/CfD/DIT/IPT/BCT etc, dependent on qualifications and experience)
- Assist in the promotion of Dr Julian and its services

What we are looking for in our supervisor:
Essential
- Professional Counselling qualification
- BACP accreditation
- Qualification/Experience in Step 3 Counselling Supervision (including group supervision)
- NHSTT experience/ NHS Talking Therapies Experience
- Willingness to work flexible hours, must include at least one evening
- Experience working with a wide variety of client groups, presenting with the full range of clinical severity
- Ability to work with a team and foster good working relationships
- Ability to use clinical supervision and personal development positively and effectively
- Ability to work under pressure
- Commitment to the NHSTT recovery model and to Outcomes focused Supervision
- Confidence and experience working with IT systems such as Microsoft 365.
Desirable
- Holding an NHSTT compliant top-up training in one or more of the following (CfD, DIT, IPT, BCT, LTCs)
- Experience of creating/delivering training/CPD
- Experience of delivering case management supervision
- Experience of working with and/or supporting newly qualified or trainee counsellors
