Location Leamington Spa

Temporary ongoing

Flexibility to work both Days and rotating Shifts

Days - £15.13 per hour

Shifts - Pay Rate £16.86 per hour.

Our client is a leading international manufacturing company based in Leamington Spa. They are looking for a Counterbalance FLT Driver to join their existing team on a temporary ongoing basis.

The Counterbalance FLT Driver Role

You will be responsible for working closely with the existing team to deliver efficient, safe, and accurate handling of stock, whilst delivering high-quality service to all customers.

Duties And Responsibilities Counterbalance FLT Driver

  • Undertaking receipt and checking of incoming stock in line with company goods in processes, ensuring all are labelled appropriately and the product is correctly located
  • Picking customer orders as per operating processes, undertaking all necessary controls, and ensuring available for dispatch
  • Dispatching orders in line with correct processes, paying particular attention to detail to ensure accurate picking and dispatch
  • Assisting with stock takes and any regular spot stock takes as required
  • Undertaking forklift truck duties as required, ensuring daily safety checks are conducted thoroughly and company warehouse guidelines observed
  • Undertaking physical tasks such as manually unloading containers from overseas suppliers
  • Ensuring all stock is stored, handled, and transported securely and health and safety guidelines are completed
  • Providing a professional, courteous, and efficient service to all delivery drivers and customers
  • Working with colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, and always complies with company and legislative standards
  • Ensuring all company safety and quality processes are followed and all relevant legislation complied with, raising concerns, and reporting any incidents or suggestions to your line manager
  • Supporting and assisting newly appointed or less experienced colleagues by providing training and guidance as appropriate
  • Performing any other duties that may fit into the remit of this role as and when required

  • Be qualified to competently operate Counterbalance forklift truck.
  • Hold a valid external Counterbalance licence.
  • Possess a good standard of numeracy and literacy.
  • Have a good understanding of, and commitment to, safe working practices
  • Have good communication skills and a customer focus
  • Have previous warehouse experience
  • Possess a good level of IT competence

Hours

Days

  • Monday -Thursday – pm and Friday (39hrs 30 minutes break)

Rotating fortnightly Shifts

  • Monday to Thursday and on Friday (20 minutes break)
  • Monday to Thursday and on Friday (20 minutes break)
