About The Role

This full-time Counterbalance Forklift Driver role in Kingswood offers £15.25 hourly, working Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00. Duties include operating a counterbalance truck safely, loading and unloading vehicles, moving stock across the yard, and assisting with deliveries. Beyond driving, the successful candidate handles general handy-person tasks, site maintenance, and keeps the yard clean and organised. Reliability, prior forklift experience, and a valid counterbalance licence are essential. The position suits someone who enjoys varied work combining machinery operation with practical upkeep, supporting the wider team daily. Ongoing employment with weekly hours of 40 is provided.

COUNTERBALANCE FLT DRIVER / YARD OPERATIVE – BS16

We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our client’s busy site in BS16.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, as alongside forklift duties, you’ll also be involved in general site and handy-person duties to help keep the operation running smoothly.

£15.36 per hour
BS16
Monday to Friday | 08:00–17:00
Ongoing, full-time position

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Moving stock and materials around site
  • Assisting with deliveries and general yard duties
  • Carrying out general handy/site maintenance tasks
  • Keeping the site clean, tidy and organised
  • Supporting the wider team with day-to-day duties

What We’re Looking For

  • A valid external Counterbalance FLT licence is essential
  • In-house FLT licences will NOT be accepted
  • Previous Counterbalance experience
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, varied role
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Good attitude and willingness to get stuck in
