Play a vital role in keeping products moving safely, accurately, and efficiently throughout our operation.

Role Overview

As a VNA Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe operation of Very Narrow Aisle equipment, ensuring stock is accurately stored, replenished, and retrieved to support customer demand and business operations. Working within a fast-paced warehouse environment, you'll help maintain high standards of safety, stock accuracy, and service while supporting the smooth flow of goods across the site.

Key Duties

  • Operate VNA equipment safely and in line with company procedures and site rules.
  • Store, retrieve, move, and load stock accurately within designated warehouse locations.
  • Put away inbound deliveries into the correct racking locations.
  • Retrieve stock for customer orders, production requirements, and dispatch activities.
  • Carry out replenishment activities to ensure pick locations remain fully stocked.
  • Complete daily equipment checks and report defects or safety concerns promptly.
  • Handle products carefully to prevent damage and maintain product integrity.
  • Use warehouse management systems, RF scanners, and handheld devices to accurately record stock movements.
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock checks, and stock take activities.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, and workplace organisation.
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures, including pedestrian and vehicle segregation requirements.
  • Support wider warehouse activities and operational requirements as needed.

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience operating a VNA truck within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
  • Valid VNA licence or certification preferred.
  • Good understanding of warehouse Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems, RF scanning equipment, or handheld devices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to stock accuracy.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Experience within chilled, frozen, FMCG, or food manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of stock control processes and inventory management principles.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including shifts, weekends, and overtime where required.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high performance standards.
