Country Head UK – Fast-Growing GenAI Consultancy | London
Entrepreneurial opportunity to build the UK presence of a fast-growing Generative AI consultancy
I am currently working with a fast-growing consultancy operating at the intersection of AI, Strategy and Transformation, as they launch and build their presence in the UK.
This is a genuinely entrepreneurial opportunity. As the first international hire, you will be the first person on the ground in the UK, with a significant role in shaping how the business enters the market, wins clients and builds its team.
This is not simply a delivery role with a UK title. You will have the opportunity to build the UK business from the ground up - developing client relationships, shaping the proposition, winning work, hiring the team around you and ultimately playing a key role in establishing the firm's international growth.
The business already has strong client demand and an established proposition across private equity, scale-ups and enterprise. You will be joining at an exciting point in its growth, with the backing of an established team and the freedom to help define what comes next.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership of establishing and growing the firm's UK presence
- Build senior relationships across private equity, scale-ups and enterprise organisations
- Lead client engagements across AI strategy, transformation and implementation
- Identify opportunities where Generative AI can create meaningful commercial value
- Develop and shape the UK go-to-market strategy and proposition
- Drive business development, pipeline generation and conversion of new opportunities
- Build the UK team over time, helping to define the hiring strategy, culture and structure
- Work closely with the founders and senior leadership team on the wider international growth strategy
- Remain hands-on with clients while taking increasing ownership of the UK P&L and business as it scales

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
