Opereit
We are Opereit, a Barcelona startup building the agentic platform for logistics operations. Logistics today runs on fragmented systems, unstructured data and endless manual workflows that traditional software was never built to handle. Every year, billions are lost to errors, service failures and operational issues that are resolved too slowly, manually, or not at all.
We are changing that with AI agents that can understand logistics data, reason through complex cases and take action. Today, our agents audit invoices, manage carrier claims and recover money directly for our customers. That is only the beginning. Every shipment processed improves the platform, helping us build a network of specialised agents capable of running logistics workflows autonomously.
We recently raised €2M+ in pre-seed funding from top-tier investors in London, Paris and Spain. We are a lean team operating in Founder Mode, where outcomes, hunger and speed matter most. We are growing extremely fast and expanding across Europe.
The Role
We're looking for the person who will launch and build Opereit in the UK - end to end. You'll be our first boots on the ground in one of Europe's biggest B2C parcel markets, and you'll own it: pipeline, deals, relationships, positioning, and everything in between. You'll close the first landmark customers yourself, then keep closing while you build the foundation for everything that comes after you.
Think of yourself as the spider in the web for the whole geo. Sales is the core of it, but the role goes well beyond sales. You'll be the face of Opereit in the UK - with customers, with carriers, with partners, at the events and in the community. When a decision needs to be made about how we win this market, you're in the room. Often you are the room.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

You won't be doing it alone. You'll partner directly with our CRO and the wider Opereit team on strategy and positioning for the market - how we go in, who we go after, and how we win. There's no big team behind you yet, and that's the point. You get the coaching and support, and you get to build the UK story from the ground up. If you've ever wanted to own something and put your name on it, this is that.
Tasks
What you'll do
- Own the UK market, full stop. Strategy, pipeline, and revenue from zero to scale
- Partner directly with our CRO on go-to-market strategy and positioning for the geo. You are shaping how we win and not just executing a playbook handed to you
- Land the first flagship B2C customers yourself and build a repeatable motion from what works
- Run the full cycle: prospecting, discovery, solutioning, negotiation, close
- Become the spider in the web for the geo: build relationships with carriers, partners, and the wider logistics and startup community in the UK
- Be the voice of the UK market internally: feed back into product, pricing, and GTM
- Represent Opereit at events, in the press, in the ecosystem
- Lay the groundwork for the team that grows around you as we scale the market
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 7+ years selling into the B2C market in the UK: you know these buyers, the org charts, and how deals actually get done
- Courier / Express / Transportation experience: you've sold to or solutioned for these clients and you speak their language fluently
- Software / SaaS sales experience strongly preferred: you're comfortable selling a platform, not just a service
- A genuine self-starter: independent, high-agency, and completely at home with a blank page and an ambitious number
- The instinct to go beyond: you don't wait to be told you take initiative
- Comfortable working with data and explaining ROI to operations, finance, and C-suite stakeholders alike

What you're signing up for
This is not a 9-to-5. We're building and we're racing, there's intensity and real ownership to match it. You'll wear a lot of hats, move fast, and occasionally build the road while you drive on it. But you're never doing it alone: this is a high-energy, genuinely fun team with great team spirit and support to match the speed.
If that sounds exhausting, this isn't for you. If it sounds like the best thing you could be doing right now, reach out!
