The Opportunity

The Oval Partnership has been exclusively appointed to identify an entrepreneurial commercial leader for a fast-growing, impact-driven European food business entering the UK market.

This is a rare opportunity to launch, build, and lead the company’s UK operation. The successful candidate will have substantial autonomy, direct access to the group CEO, and significant long-term upside, including share participation and success-based rewards.

About the Opportunity

You will take full ownership of UK sales growth, profitability, and market development. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing the UK commercial strategy
  • Winning and growing partnerships across gastronomy, foodservice, and commercial catering
  • Building and leading the UK team as the business scales
  • Managing the UK P&L and cash flow
  • Representing the business with customers, at industry events, and in senior commercial discussions
  • Contributing to group strategy as a key member of the leadership team

About You

You will bring:

  • Deep knowledge of the UK gastronomy and foodservice market
  • A strong industry network and a track record of opening doors
  • Outstanding commercial judgment and communication skills
  • Experience building and motivating high-performing teams
  • Confidence managing P&Ls, cash flow, and sustainable growth
  • The resilience, energy, and hands-on approach required in a startup environment
  • A genuine passion for high-quality, sustainable food and ingredients
