Salary: Competitive

Inizio Engage is delighted to be partnering with an innovative biotechnology company focused on serious and rare diseases, to recruit a UK Country Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation at a pivotal stage of development, as it prepares for the launch and growth of innovative treatments for Thyroid Eye Disease (TED).

Working with a strong sense of urgency for patients, our client is dedicated to leveraging proven science and engineering to transform the lives of people living with serious diseases. The successful candidate will play a critical role in establishing and leading the UK business, shaping the commercial strategy and driving successful launch execution and growth across the UK.

Reporting to the Vice President, International, the UK Country Manager will hold full UK P&L responsibility and lead all aspects of the UK business, including commercial strategy, market access, launch execution, stakeholder engagement, and team development.

This is a highly visible and hands-on leadership position, suited to an entrepreneurial commercial leader who can combine strategic vision with operational execution. The successful candidate will be expected to work beyond traditional role boundaries, operating with pace and agility to build the UK organisation and deliver meaningful outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the tailoring and execution of the UK commercial and launch strategy for the company's TED portfolio, aligned with the broader international strategy.
  • Drive successful market access, reimbursement, and uptake following NICE recommendation and funding approval.
  • Take full responsibility for the UK P&L, ensuring strong commercial performance and sustainable business growth.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing UK organisation aligned to business objectives and future growth ambitions.
  • Act as the external face of the organisation across the UK healthcare environment, developing trusted relationships with KOLs, patient advocacy groups, NHS stakeholders, commissioners, and healthcare decision makers.
  • Engage stakeholders at both national and local NHS levels to support awareness, access, and adoption of therapies for patients living with TED.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the UK NHS, NICE, reimbursement pathways, healthcare policy, and market access environment, using this insight to shape effective commercial execution.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Finance, as well as external partners, to ensure aligned and successful launch delivery.
  • Provide both strategic direction and hands-on leadership, operating effectively within a lean, entrepreneurial, and evolving organisation.
  • Identify opportunities, proactively solve problems, and remove barriers to execution with pace, agility, and a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Foster a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and performance-driven culture, inspiring teams to achieve ambitious business and patient-focused goals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
