Role Description
The Country Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in the United Kingdom. The Country Manager will oversee overall operations in the country, including sales, business development, and distribution activities, ensuring alignment with company strategy and performance targets. The role will also involve:
- Budgeting
- Forecasting
- Reporting on country performance
- Ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies
The Country Manager will collaborate with regional and global leadership to drive brand presence, operational efficiency, and long-term profitability in the UK market.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, or commercial management, ideally within solar, renewable energy, or related industries.
- Solid understanding of market analysis, strategic planning, and performance reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for engaging customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Ability to manage budgets, oversee operational processes, and ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
- Experience working in or with UK markets and a strong interest in clean energy and sustainability.
- Capacity to work on-site full time, handle multiple priorities, and adapt quickly in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
