Country Manager - UK & Ireland

Drive Growth. Lead People. Shape Strategy.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially focused Country Manager to lead and accelerate growth across the UK & Ireland for a rapidly expanding international technology business operating within the renewable energy and energy storage sector.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take full ownership of the regional business, leading a high-performing team of 8 sales, technical and operational professionals while delivering ambitious revenue, market share and profitability targets.

The Role

As Country Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy across the UK and Ireland, building strong relationships with distributors, installers, wholesalers, utilities and major commercial partners. You will lead from the front, driving sales performance, coaching your team, and identifying new market opportunities within one of the fastest-growing sectors globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and inspire a team of 8 across sales, technical support and operations.
  • Create and execute the UK & Ireland commercial strategy.
  • Drive revenue growth through channel partners, distributors and key accounts.
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders across the renewable energy ecosystem.
  • Identify new business opportunities and route-to-market partnerships.
  • Manage forecasting, budgeting and P&L responsibilities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience and long-term client retention.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience managing multi-functional commercial teams.
  • Strong background within renewable energy, energy storage, electrical products, technology or related sectors.
  • Track record of delivering significant revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Experience working with merchants, distributors, wholesalers and strategic partners.
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate strategically and tactically.
  • Passion for building teams and developing talent.
