Country Manager UK & Ireland

Industrial Minerals | Silica | Advanced Blending Solutions | Remote UK

Some sales roles are about selling products.

This one is about shaping markets.

Our client is an international industrial manufacturer with more than 50 years of expertise in high-purity silica, industrial minerals, and complex engineered blends used within demanding technical applications. Following significant investment, international expansion, and the acquisition of advanced blending capabilities, the business is entering an exciting new phase of growth across the UK and Ireland.

We are seeking a commercially astute Country Manager who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on business development. This is a true hunter role, responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing key customer relationships, and positioning complex mineral and blended solutions within technically demanding markets.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Success will come from understanding customer challenges rather than simply selling products. You'll work closely with technical, R&D, and production teams to develop tailored solutions that add value across sectors including construction chemicals, infrastructure, water treatment, energy, industrial manufacturing, and specialist applications.

We're looking for someone who enjoys opening doors, influencing specification, negotiating commercially, and building long-term strategic partnerships. Experience selling technical products, industrial minerals, silica, construction chemicals, additives, dry blends, or related engineered materials would be highly advantageous.

Beyond delivering revenue growth, you'll play a key role in shaping the UK strategy, identifying emerging markets, and contributing to the future direction of the business. The opportunity to build something significant is genuine, with ambitious growth plans and the backing of an established European manufacturing group investing heavily in innovation and advanced blending technology.

If you are commercially driven, technically curious, and motivated by developing markets rather than maintaining them, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.

Please forward your CV together with your current remuneration package for a strictly confidential discussion.
