Country Manager - UK & Ireland

Salary: Up to £100,000 + bonus, company car and benefits (some flexibility for the right candidate)
Location: Remote, England

CSG are proud to be exclusively partnering with a global acute and critical care equipment manufacturer that is looking to appoint a new Country Manager - UK & Ireland.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial leader to take responsibility for the UK business, drive the next phase of growth, develop a robust long term sales and marketing strategy and lead the business towards its next major UK milestone.

This is a hands on commercial leadership role with responsibility across the UK business including sales, clinical, technical, marketing and internal office functions.

The business offers a portfolio of high quality solutions, including products specifically focused on acute and critical care, alongside a broader range of solutions used across specialist hospital departments and therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver a UK & Ireland sales, clinical and marketing strategy across all equipment areas, delivering YOY growth and working towards key 3-5 year financial milestones.
  • Analyse and further develop the UK marketing strategy, messaging and branding, working closely with the senior/global marketing team to ensure the products, solutions and wider business are aligned with UK market needs and expectations.
  • Take a hands on approach in supporting and developing the field sales and clinical teams.
  • Drive, support and manage relationships with UK distributors and dealers.
  • Grow and further develop the UK team as the business continues to expand and its direct presence in the UK increases.
  • Oversee all UK functions, including customer services, regulatory/compliance, operational and financial management.
  • Work closely with global leadership and other international teams to ensure the UK & Ireland business strategy is aligned with wider company objectives.

Requirements:

  • Direct and recent experience selling acute/critical care, medical imaging and/or IVD equipment into the UK hospital market.
  • Proven experience managing UK sales and clinical teams.
  • Experience developing and executing UK sales, marketing and market development strategies.
  • Strong commercial leadership experience, with the ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on and close to customers and the field team.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Currently based in England.
