Country Nursing and Quality Manager

Are you passionate about driving clinical excellence and transforming the standard of chronic and renal care on a national scale?

At Fresenius Medical Care, we are looking for a visionary and strategic Country Nursing and Quality Manager. You will serve as specialized senior leadership for nursing governance, patient safety, and high-quality chronic disease management with a core focus on renal care and dialysis. You will lead an integrated team and collaborate closely with country leadership to ensure every clinic delivers a safe, efficient, and patient-centered model of specialized care.

What You Will Do in This Role:

Strategic & Team Leadership

  • Define, set, and drive the national Nursing and Quality strategy for chronic disease and renal operations, guiding Clinic Head Nurses and Regional Quality Managers.
  • Act as the senior clinical voice at the country management level.

Specialized Renal & Chronic Governance

  • Establish nursing policies, standards of practice, and optimized care pathways specifically tailored to chronic disease, dialysis treatments, and nephrology care.

Quality Management System

  • Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the CDI quality management system.
  • Ensure the smooth integration of local and international regulatory requirements for dialysis services.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

  • Foster a strong culture of compliance with health authority, professional, and occupational safety regulations.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive action processes specific to clinical operations.

Audits & Patient Safety

  • Plan and coordinate internal audits across the clinic network.
  • Monitor key indicators for infection control, dialysis safety, significant incidents, and high-risk chronic care topics.

Clinical Training & Education

  • Shape national priorities for clinical training in nephrology and chronic disease management.
  • Ensure robust onboarding, continuous professional development, and rigorous competency assessments for nursing staff.

Cross-Functional & Management Projects

  • Partner with the Country Medical Director and Operations leaders to drive clinical improvement projects.
  • Connect specialized nursing and quality priorities with sustainable clinic performance.

What We Are Looking For:

Specialized Clinical Background

  • Extensive nursing leadership experience with a strong background in chronic disease, ideally specializing in renal care and dialysis.

Solid Management Track Record

  • Proven track record in senior nursing leadership and quality management, ideally within multi-site healthcare networks, private healthcare, or major dialysis operations.

Matrix Environment Expertise

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational structures, influence stakeholders, and lead through dotted lines.

Regulatory & Process Rigor

  • Deep command of clinical governance, quality audits, risk mitigation frameworks, and continuous improvement methodologies (CAPA/RCA).

Inspiring Leadership

  • Strong ability to build high-performing teams, foster accountability, and develop specialized clinical talent.
