A well-established, internationally active crop protection company is seeking a Country Regulatory Manager to take full ownership of its UK and Ireland regulatory strategy. This is a newly restructured position, created to bring sharper focus, deeper technical credibility, and a more entrepreneurial mindset to what is considered a priority growth market. The person appointed will have broad latitude to shape how the company operates and grows in this territory.

With roughly 2,000 SKUs, around 60 formulations, and complete EU regulatory dossiers already in place across key markets, the infrastructure is substantial, and the reinvestment into new product development is notably high for a business of this type. That means the person in this role will inherit a credible, compliance-anchored platform and then have the opportunity to actively contribute to portfolio decisions for the territory over the coming years, a level of strategic input that is rare at this level in a non-originator environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all crop protection product registrations for the UK and Ireland, including interactions with the relevant regulatory authorities (HSE/CRD and equivalent)
- Identify regulatory needs for new and existing products within the territory and coordinate dossier preparation and submission accordingly
- Monitor UK REACH, GB regulatory developments, and post-Brexit divergence to ensure the portfolio remains compliant and strategically positioned
- Develop and sustain strong technical and commercial relationships with key distribution partners and accounts across the territory
- Contribute to the company’s portfolio development strategy for UK and Ireland, providing market and regulatory insight to support pipeline decisions
- Work cross-functionally with European regulatory, R&D, and commercial teams to align on priorities and timelines
- Track competitor activity, market trends, and customer needs to inform strategy and identify opportunities
- Represent the company at industry events and with key stakeholders in the UK and Irish agricultural sector

Key Requirements
- Solid background in crop protection regulatory affairs, specifically product registrations in the UK and/or Ireland
- Strong understanding of GB and EU regulatory frameworks for plant protection products, including post-Brexit UK requirements
- Experience managing relationships with HSE/CRD or equivalent national authorities
- Ability to read and interpret technical dossiers and to work effectively with R&D and regulatory teams
- Commercial awareness and the confidence to engage with distribution partners, understand their needs, and translate those into portfolio and regulatory priorities
- Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable operating independently, setting priorities, and driving strategy without relying on a large support structure
- Familiarity with the UK and Irish crop protection market, including key distribution channels and customer dynamics
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant life science, agricultural, or chemical discipline
- Fluent English; additional European languages would be an advantage

This is a fully remote position based anywhere in the UK, with travel as needed to meet customers, attend industry events, and engage with the broader European team.
