Derbyshire Cricket Foundation & Derbyshire County Cricket Club Job Opportunity

The Derbyshire Cricket Foundation, in partnership with Derbyshire County Cricket Club, is excited to recruit a passionate County Safeguarding & Anti-Discrimination Officer who truly cares about making cricket across Derbyshire a safe and welcoming place for all.

About Us:

Grassroots cricket is thriving in Derbyshire, with more played this year than in recent years, thanks to committed volunteers at 105 clubs and several leagues. Women’s and girls’ participation is rising rapidly, and more children play regularly than before the pandemic. We deliver cricket in over 100 primary schools and provide pathways for children who want to continue. We help clubs develop facilities, recruit volunteers, and create safe, welcoming spaces for diverse communities. Through formats such as table, street, softball, and walking cricket, we reach people who have historically been “missed out” on cricket and physical activity, including those with disabilities or long-term health conditions. We also reduce financial barriers and bring cricket to schools, parks, sports halls, and play areas across the county.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
