Description
Focuses on contemporary approaches to planning, monitoring and evaluating programs across a range of contexts (K-graduation, college, non-governmental organization, adult education centre). Areas of study include adaptive and strategic management, results-based management, log frame analysis, systems assessment, stakeholder analysis, and fourth generation evaluation.
This course is not Team taught. This course is offered online synchronously.

Education
- Master educator with an MA in a relevant field (curriculum studies, educational leadership or school administration) and/or extensive relevant experience as a school leader or pedagogue
- PhD or equivalent in a relevant field is an asset

Experience
- Expert knowledge of:
- Wide range of different theories and approaches to curriculum design, development, and implementation
- Theory and practice of educational leadership in Quebec and Canadian contexts
- Educational leadership in contemporary educational settings including but not limited to elementary and high schools and alternative schools
- Experience as a school administrator, institutional leader, community leader and/or master teacher/instructor in the Quebec educational system
Other
- Previous successful experience teaching similar course(s) at the graduate level
- Knowledge of the impact and proven record integrating pedagogical approaches anchored to equity, diversity and inclusion
- Familiarity using myCourses, ZOOM and other similar online platforms to facilitate quality teaching and learning experiences
- Familiarity teaching blended classes is an asset
- Familiarity with the application of a variety of digital teaching and learning tools
