An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Court of Protection Solicitor to join a leading law firm with a highly regarded private client practice. Working as part of a specialist team, you will manage a varied caseload of deputyship and personal injury trust matters while supporting vulnerable clients and their families.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value cases within a collaborative team, with excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development.

Role

  • Manage a varied caseload of Court of Protection deputyship and personal injury trust matters
  • Advise clients, families, case managers and other professionals on property and financial affairs
  • Work closely with Personal Injury and Medical Negligence teams on litigated and settled claims
  • Draft Court of Protection applications and annual Deputy Reports
  • Assist with complex deputyship and trust matters alongside senior colleagues
  • Coordinate billing, detailed assessment of costs and financial administration
  • Maintain accurate case records and ensure exceptional client service throughout

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE in Court of Protection
  • Strong experience managing deputyship and property and affairs matters
  • Experience with personal injury trusts is advantageous
  • Excellent drafting, organisational and communication skills
  • Compassionate and client-focused approach with the ability to manage sensitive matters
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach

Salary

Up to £65,000 plus attractive benefits and bonus
