About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious London-based Couture Maison for an exceptionally skilled Couture Seamstress to join their atelier team. This is a rare opportunity to work at the highest level of craft within a celebrated house known for its uncompromising commitment to quality and savoir-faire.
Responsibilities
- Hand and machine sewing of bespoke couture pieces from toile through to final stage
- Executing intricate construction techniques including hand finishing, boning, underlining, and embellishment
- Working closely with the pattern cutting team to realise designs with precision
- Attending fittings and carrying out alterations as directed by the Atelier Manager
- Upholding the quality and care standards expected within a couture environment

Requirements
- Proven experience within a couture or high-end bespoke atelier — this is essential
- Must be based in the United Kingdom
- Exceptional hand-sewing and finishing skills
- Deep understanding of couture construction methods and fabrics
- Meticulous attention to detail and a genuine passion for the craft
- Ability to work to exacting standards under pressure and to deadline
- Collaborative, professional, and discreet
