Cover Manager
We are seeking an experienced and organised Cover Manager to lead our team of Cover Supervisors and coordinate the daily cover system across the whole school, including the organisation of supply teachers.
The role will also involve supervising classes of students aged 11–16, delivering work set by the class teacher during their absence and ensuring that students are well managed and remain focused and productive. Other duties may include supporting small-group interventions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience within a school environment as part of their career development. It would also provide valuable experience for anyone considering a future career in teaching.
Salary & Hours
- 37 hours per week, term time only, plus 5 training days
- Salary Scale F: Full-time salary £29,070–£33,119 (pro rata £24,641–£28,073)
- Start date: 19 October 2026

About The Willink
The Willink is a successful and oversubscribed school with a strong international ethos. As the preferred state school in our area, we attract students from beyond our catchment, including from Hampshire, Reading and Wokingham.
We have over 1,200 students on roll, including around 200 in our Sixth Form, and are situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting south-west of Reading.
