At LSC, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Cover Sports Coach to join our team of subject specialists across the Birmingham region. If you’re someone who can deliver exciting PE lessons, inspire children to develop a passion for sport and create memorable experiences, we’d love to hear from you!
Head Sports Coach
- Location: Birmingham (DY11 6AP)
- Salary: £130-£140 per day
- Hours: Up to 40 hours per week, depending on your availability

The Role:
As one of our Cover Sports Coaches, you’ll deliver high-quality PE lessons in primary schools, ensuring children are engaged, active and developing their own passion for sport. Your role will include delivering structured PE lessons in one of our partner schools, leading lunchtime clubs and after-school activities, alongside time for your own planning and preparation. You’ll also have the opportunity to support and lead our newly revamped Holiday Clubs, where you can get creative, bring new ideas to life and create exciting experiences for children.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, enthusiasm, and a passion to make a difference through sport.
Essential
- Physical Education or Sports Coaching degree
- Minimum of Level 2 National Governing Body coaching qualifications
- 2 years PE delivery experience in UK primary schools
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Valid DBS clearance
