Milk is seeking reliable, adaptable, and confident Supply Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Middlesbrough. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work, whether you are available for short-term assignments, long-term placements, or day-to-day cover.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to students across a range of subjects
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Ensure a positive and productive learning environment
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
  • Support the wider school community when required

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of 3–6 months’ experience working within a UK school setting
  • A degree in any subject
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Confidence working with young people (ages 11–16 or 11–18)
  • Flexibility and a proactive approach
  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar role is desirable
