A secondary school in Hemel Hempstead is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Cover Supervisor to join their team for an ASAP start.


Cover Supervisor: The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning when teachers are absent. You will supervise classes across a range of subjects, deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain focused and engaged.

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Supervise classes and deliver pre-set lessons
  • Manage classroom behavior confidently and consistently
  • Build positive and respectful relationships with students
  • Encourage students to engage with their learning and achieve their best
  • Maintain a calm and purposeful classroom environment
  • Support students from a wide range of backgrounds
  • Work effectively with teachers and the wider school team
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

The school is looking for someone who is reliable, organized, enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about working with young people. Previous experience working with students would be beneficial, but the right attitude and ability to build strong relationships are equally important.
