About The Role
Teach South seeks Cover Supervisors for secondary schools in Robertsbridge, East Sussex. This full time, part time or temporary contract suits those passionate about education and supporting pupils. Daily pay ranges from £120 to £160. The successful candidate supervises classes during teacher absence, delivers pre-prepared work, assists students with tasks and maintains a purposeful classroom setting. Applicants should have experience with young people in a school, youth, childcare or comparable setting. Strong communication and classroom management abilities are essential, alongside a calm, confident and professional manner. Teach South Kent is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work within secondary schools in the Robertsbridge area.
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning when teachers are absent. You’ll supervise classes, deliver pre-prepared work, support students with their learning, and help create a positive and purposeful classroom environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with young people in a school, youth, childcare or similar setting
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A calm, confident and professional approach
- The ability to build positive relationships with students
- Reliability, flexibility and a genuine interest in education
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor is desirable, but not essential
