Location: Neale-Wade Academy, March, Cambridgeshire
Contract: Permanent, 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Salary (Actual): ALT Grade E - £20,353.69 to £21,176.57

We are looking for a calm, confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to provide continuity for students when teachers are absent, leading classes through pre-prepared learning and creating an orderly environment in which everyone can participate and make progress. Based at Neale-Wade Academy, a caring and ambitious 11-18 school at the heart of March, this varied role offers the chance to make a practical difference across the school each day. Strong behaviour management, sound judgement and clear communication will be central, alongside a commitment to safeguarding, collaboration and treating every young person with warmth, consistency and high expectations.

Summary Of Key Responsibilities
- Supervise classes completing pre-prepared activities, maintaining continuity of learning during planned or unplanned teacher absence.
- Manage behaviour effectively, keep learners on task and take responsibility for their safety and wellbeing.
- Prepare learning spaces and resources, collect completed work and restore areas after lessons.
- Maintain appropriate records and provide teachers with clear feedback on students' work, progress, behaviour and any issues arising.
- Communicate positively with learners, colleagues and relevant professionals to support learning, development and wellbeing.
