Luma Education Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to join an excellent and highly regarded school within the LU3 area of Luton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or education professional looking to develop their experience within a specialist SEND provision.

About The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll support pupils across the school by delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining a positive, structured learning environment.
You'll Be Responsible For
- Delivering lessons and activities in the absence of the class teacher
- Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
- Working with smaller groups and providing individual support where required
- Following lesson plans and adapting activities where appropriate
- Managing behaviour positively and consistently
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Supporting engagement, confidence, and progress
- Working closely with teachers, Teaching Assistants, and the wider school team

- £125-£160 per day, depending on experience
- Full-time Monday-Friday, during school hours

The Ideal Candidate
We're keen to hear from experienced Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants, and education professionals who are confident working with young people and managing a classroom environment.
SEND experience would be advantageous, but a genuine interest in developing within specialist education is equally important.

You'll Ideally Be
- Experienced working with children or young people in an educational setting
- Confident managing behaviour and maintaining classroom expectations
- Patient, adaptable, and approachable
- Comfortable working with pupils with additional needs
- Able to follow lesson plans and work independently
- A strong communicator and reliable team player
