East London | Flexible Working | £150–£200 per day
Are you a passionate and adaptable teacher looking for flexible work in secondary schools across East London?
Principal Education is recruiting enthusiastic Cover Teachers to work on a daily supply basis across a wide network of outstanding and good secondary schools. Whether you’re looking for part-time or full-time work, we can offer assignments to fit around your availability.
The Role
As a Cover Teacher, You Will
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects.
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
- Ensure students remain engaged and continue learning in the teacher’s absence.
- Adapt quickly to different schools and classroom settings.

What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Experienced Cover Teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Flexible, reliable and confident teaching across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is advantageous).
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- The right to work in the UK.
