Experienced PTS Plant & Vehicle Marshall

Location: Oxford, OX4

Rate: Negotiable

Start Date: Monday 12th October

Duration: Long-term

Role & Responsibilities

  • Safely control and coordinate the movement of plant and vehicles around site.
  • Marshall excavators, dumpers, delivery vehicles, and other mobile plant.
  • Guide vehicles and plant into designated working and unloading areas.
  • Maintain safe exclusion zones around moving plant and machinery.
  • Ensure pedestrian and vehicle routes are kept clear and safely managed.
  • Communicate clearly with plant operators, drivers, and site management.
  • Assist with the safe coordination of deliveries and vehicle movements.
  • Carry out visual checks of designated access and working areas.
  • Follow RAMS, site rules, and rail safety procedures at all times.
  • Report hazards, unsafe practices, or potential conflicts immediately to the Site Supervisor.
  • Assist with general site duties where required.

Requirements

  • Valid Plant & Vehicle Marshall competency/ticket
  • Valid CSCS
  • Previous experience working as a Plant & Vehicle Marshall
  • Previous Rail/civils Experience Preferred
  • Good communication and awareness of plant movements
  • Strong understanding of site health & safety
  • Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
