Job Description

Segment: Food & Nutrition

Location: Oud-beijerland

Contract: Full-time, 3 year contract

Mars is transforming the way we develop and manage our products through a global Connected Product Lifecycle Management (cPLM) program. As our cPLM Raw Materials Recipe Scientist, you will play a key role in ensuring that raw materials, recipes, and product data are accurately captured, validated, and deployed within our new global platform.

This is a unique opportunity for a Food Science professional who enjoys working at the intersection of R&D, data, systems, and global collaboration. You'll work closely with Product Developers, Raw Material Technologists, SRA teams, and Digital Technology partners to support successful implementation and adoption across our Food & Nutrition sites worldwide.

This project role is currently funded through June 2028.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Support the implementation and deployment of the new cPLM system across Food & Nutrition sites.
  • Validate recipes, formulations, raw material specifications, and data structures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Act as the first point of contact for R&D users, providing functional support and guidance.
  • Drive data quality by identifying and resolving data gaps and ensuring adherence to global standards.
  • Support training, communications, workshops, and deployment readiness activities.
  • Partner with global stakeholders across R&D, SRA, Procurement, and Digital Technology to continuously improve processes and user adoption.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
