About the Role

The CPMS Technical Support will be highly motivated and proactive, taking ownership of our EV Charging Point Management System (CPMS) and wider fleet EV infrastructure estate. This is a key role within a rapidly growing organisation, offering the right candidate the autonomy to shape processes, systems, and future team development.

You will be accountable for ensuring optimum system uptime reliability, and efficiency of our EV charging network, acting as a technical lead between systems, clients, OEM partners, and engineering teams. While you will support reactive callouts when required, the primary focus of this role is to resolve issues remotely through intelligent system management, automation, and providing diagnosis of faults and faults codes.

The ideal person for this role will be:

  • Comfortable working autonomously and making decisions.
  • Naturally driven to improve systems and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail with a structured, logical approach.
  • Confident communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Essential:

  • Demonstrable experience in a technical support role.
  • Strong track record of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues remotely.
  • Experience working in operational or service-critical environments with uptime responsibility.
  • Experience collaborating with field engineering teams and external partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid UK Driving License
  • Flexibility in working hours and approach, an attitude to see a task through.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
