About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the North Staffordshire arm (Newcastle and Leek) of the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Talking Therapies Service. This Service is a partnership between North Staffs Combined Health Care, the Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust and third sector providers and is an innovative high performing Talking Therapies team providing effective treatments for a broad range of common mental health problems in primary care.
We are looking to recruit a Registered Mental Health Nurse to a Lead role on a temporary contract to cover maternity leave (fixed term ending 1-Oct-2027).
Requirements
- Qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
- Registered with the NMC
- Experience of working in mental health settings across primary/secondary care
Responsibilities
- Manage a small team of RMN’s who work as part of the Talking Therapies service
- Provide supervision and caseload management to the team
- Take a lead role in managing the duty team which provides triage for clients entering the service
