Role Description

The CQC & Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance, quality standards, and facilities management across The Carter & George Practice locations. This is a full-time hybrid role with a mix of on-site presence and some work from the London office and home. Day-to-day tasks include managing CQC requirements, coordinating audits, and ensuring clinical and non-clinical operations meet regulatory and safety standards. The role also involves managing facilities and equipment, liaising with contractors and service providers, overseeing health and safety, and supporting risk assessments and incident reporting. The CQC & Facilities Manager collaborates closely with clinical leads and the senior leadership team to implement improvement plans, optimise patient and client experience, and support the delivery of premium, performance-led healthcare services.

  • Demonstrated experience in CQC compliance, clinical governance, and quality management within healthcare or allied health settings.
  • Strong skills in facilities management, including building maintenance coordination, contractor management, and health and safety oversight.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments, manage incident reporting processes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple sites and priorities.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical teams, leadership, and external partners.
  • Comfort with digital tools and systems.
  • Relevant qualifications in healthcare management, facilities management, or a related field; experience in physiotherapy or private healthcare environments is beneficial.
  • Understanding of UK healthcare regulations, CQC standards, and best practices in patient safety and service quality.
  • Proactive, detail-focused approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
