Creative Role
Hearst Networks is looking for a Creative to join our award-winning Creative Team, this mid-weight role will develop standout campaigns and content for brands across our EMEA territories.
You’ll take ideas from initial concept through to final delivery, creating compelling work across on-air, off-air and digital platforms. Combining strong creative thinking with hands-on execution, you’ll respond confidently to briefs, collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders, and help ensure every campaign is distinctive, relevant and on-brand.
You’ll also be confident running small-scale shoots, from preparing equipment through to directing contributors and editing final clips and reels. The scale of these shoots will cover different types from in-office corporate interviews to talent shoots using our in-house kit.
We’re looking for someone who understands audiences, keeps pace with culture and emerging trends, and knows how to turn a strong insight into attention-grabbing creative. You’ll be confident presenting, directing and managing projects. You’ll also be a positive contributor in a collaborative, ambitious team.

About Us
Our powerhouse Creative Team is the engine behind the development and execution of a range of broadcast content for Hearst Networks. The team devise and deliver bold on-air and off-air campaigns, crafting standout short-form content, branding and promos for Sky History, The History Channel international, Crime+Investigation, freeview channel BLAZE, and our streaming and FAST services.
This is a permanent position. This role will be hybrid, based in our London office, Tuesdays to Thursdays each week.
Hearst Networks run a family of global TV brands with our head office in the UK and offices in Poland, Germany, Italy, Spain and South Africa. We are an ambitious and creative team who strive to build strong brands for our territories.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop bold, original ideas that cut through a crowded television landscape.
- Create standout campaigns and content - from simple reversions to major above-the-line work, across TV and social platforms.
- Take projects from brief to delivery, including research, scripting, footage selection and self-op editing.
- Set up and lead small-scale shoots using in-house camera and iPhone kits, confidently lighting scenes and directing contributors.
- Apply strong knowledge of our different brands and have the flexibility to work with very different markets across our EMEA territories.
- Present creative concepts with conviction and build stakeholder buy-in.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while consistently delivering to a high creative and technical standard.

Minimum Skills Requirements
- Experience in broadcasting or advertising, with a reel that demonstrates outstanding creative work.
- Evidence of being a strong ideas generator with a passion for writing, creativity and design.
- Strong communication skills, happy to get involved in a range of creative and marketing challenges.
- Excellent knowledge of production tools in editing and digital media, with a professional level on Premier Pro editing system, and an understanding of how cameras and lighting set ups work.
