You’ll join Strafe Creative, a passionate creative agency rooted in Nottingham, working with brands big and small. We build great products through collaboration, innovative thinking, and a dedication to craft.
What's in it for you?
This is a part-time role, 2 days a week, and is £11,750 a year. This also equates to £16 an hour if you prefer to look at it in that way. We're also open to working with you to select the days of the week that are most suitable to you.

The Role
We’re looking for an organised and dependable Part-Time Financial Administrator to help keep the financial side of Strafe running smoothly.
You’ll take ownership of our day-to-day financial administration, making sure invoices go out on time, payments are followed up, accounts are reconciled and we have an accurate picture of our cash flow. This isn’t a role where you’ll simply be handed a pile of numbers to process. You’ll play an important part in helping us understand where the business stands financially and keeping things moving behind the scenes.
What you’ll be doing
- Preparing and sending client invoices accurately and on time.
- Keeping track of outstanding invoices and proactively following up with clients when payments become overdue.
- Reconciling transactions and keeping our accounts accurate and up to date.
- Supporting the day-to-day financial administration of the business.
- Maintaining and updating our cash flow forecasts in Google Sheets.
- Helping us keep a clear picture of upcoming income, expenditure and overall cash position.
- Identifying discrepancies or potential issues and raising them with the relevant person.
- Keeping financial records organised and making sure important deadlines aren’t missed.
- Working with our Directors and Operations team to provide the financial information they need to make informed decisions.

What we’re looking for
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
- Confidence working with numbers and financial information.
- Previous experience with bookkeeping, accounts administration or a similar finance-focused role.
- Experience raising and managing invoices.
- Experience reconciling accounts and transactions.
- Confidence following up outstanding payments professionally and persistently when required.
- Good spreadsheet skills, particularly with Google Sheets or Excel.
- The ability to manage recurring tasks and deadlines without needing lots of supervision.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
