About the Role
The Creative & Experiences Lead sits within the Create Team - Bauer Media Outdoor’s creative solutions team.
The role provides creative leadership across selected client and agency engagements, partnering with the Creative Agency Partner and Commercial teams to develop strong creative ideas, campaigns and experiences.
The Creative & Experiences Lead will shape the team’s creative output, raise creative standards and lead the development of exceptional audience and brand experiences – from experiential campaigns and special builds to interactive installations and technology-enabled OOH.
The role is about turning commercial opportunities and client briefs into compelling creative solutions that grow revenue, strengthen agency relationships and showcase what’s possible through Out of Home.
The role reports to the Head of Creative Solutions.
What you’ll be doing
Team leadership
- Line management of all producers, including coaching & development.
- Partnering with the Creative Operations Manager to ensure the right creative talent is assigned to each brief.
- Contributing to business development with the Creative Agency Partner.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of workflow and process with the Creative Operations Manager.

Creative solutions
- Ensuring creative excellence across all responses and leading the response on priority briefs.
- Leading concept development and pre-sales activity.
- Defining the central creative idea and audience journey behind physical and digital brand experiences.
- Working with Creative Operations and stakeholders to turn ambitious ideas into feasible, deliverable concepts without losing their creative impact.
- Building a pipeline of proactive, sellable ideas inspired by priority locations, cultural moments, audience behaviours and advertiser categories.
- Review of Campaign Plans, to ensure creative quality.
- Contributing to product & portfolio discussions to ensure the team’s creative offering matches client needs.
- Contributing to creative solutions new product development.
Creative & commercial partnerships
- Partner with Commercial teams to increase conversion of creative opportunities into booked campaigns and drive incremental revenue.
- Contributing, with support from the wider team and Marketing, the Create comms and content plan.
- Contributing to BMO thought leadership.
Who are you?
We’re open to candidates from a range of creative backgrounds. You don’t need previous OOH experience, but you will need a strong creative mindset and the ability to think about how ideas can translate into engaging audience experiences across the OOH environment.
- An experienced creative thinker with a strong portfolio across integrated, experiential, special-build or brand experience work.
- Able to turn client briefs, commercial challenges and audience insights into compelling creative ideas.
- Experienced in leading creative development from the initial idea through to execution.
- A strong eye for what makes an idea original, relevant, engaging and achievable.
- Comfortable working across physical, digital, technology, content and live experiences.
- Able to see how creative ideas can translate into engaging OOH experiences.
- An inspiring creative leader with experience managing and developing teams.
- Confident presenting ideas to senior clients, agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Commercially aware, collaborative and able to balance creative ambition with practical delivery.
- Curious about culture, technology and audience behaviour, with a desire to push creative boundaries.
