The Role
The Creative Assistant sits underneath everything the creative team produces. The role spans design production and adaptation, quality control before assets go live, shoot preparation and on-set support, and the sourcing and trend research that feeds the work. An integral part of the team, working collaboratively and cross-functionally at all levels and with all departments (Design, ECommerce, Partnerships, Nutrition, and Innovation).
This is a role built for someone at the start of their creative career who takes satisfaction in being organized and in work that goes out right the first time.
Reports to Junior Art Director.
What You'll Do
Design Production and Adaptation
- Support the Junior Art Director in adapting assets across paid, organic, email, web, and marketplace formats, working to the specifications and direction set for each.
- Contribute to building and laying out decks for internal use.
- Take on small design jobs across the team's output, executing to direction rather than setting it.
- Resize and select assets for our journal.
- Support with subtitling and editing low-fi content for paid and organic.
Asset Quality Control
- Run checks on assets before they reach the Junior Art Director for review: dimensions, safe areas, product accuracy, and file naming.
- Keep the asset library named, versioned, filed, and findable across all markets.
- Audit imagery across the website each season, flagging where it needs updating and communicating that back to the team.
Shoot Support
- Source props to the references and direction you're given, and manage everything that needs returning afterwards.
- Prepare and pack product, props, and kit ahead of every shoot.
- Support on set in-studio, in-office, and on location, keeping things organized and moving.
- Capture lo-fi video and stills on shoots and in-office for social use.
- Maintain the practical shoot toolkit: prop sources, supplier contacts, reference folders, and styling guides.
- Attend industry events, retailer visits, and brand moments to capture lo-fi, authentic footage for organic social content and paid ads as required, ensuring the brand always has a presence on the ground.
- Contribute visual references for upcoming campaigns and shoots.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Deliver a weekly trend digest in a set format: the trend, the platform, why it fits Ancient + Brave, what we could realistically make from it.
- Regularly research and share current trends in social content, design, and consumer engagement specific to the wellness and supplement industry.
AI and Creative Tools
- Get hands-on with the AI tools the creative team adopts, using them for production work such as adaptation, upscaling, background extension, and reference generation.

- You're happy on a shoot. On your feet, packing, carrying, solving small problems quickly.
- You're culturally switched on and you have views on what's good and why.
