About the Role
We’re seeking an ambitious creative to join the O’Neills Sportswear UK Marketing Team, to assist with creating engaging content for various digital channels and the execution of wider marketing campaigns.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with sports teams and athletes throughout the UK. From Championship Football, F2 Racing and Super League Rugby to lower league clubs and emerging talents, you’ll have the opportunity to create content in the world of sport.
We will encourage you to be creative, explore new ideas and be passionate about the content you produce. We want to be progressive and produce content that is in-line with current trends and themes.
Salary Range
£28,000 - £35,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
Social Media
- Collaborating with senior management in conception, development and execution of social strategies
- Creating and posting social media communications / campaigns across our social channels (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Building a community of social media followers across all platforms for both the UK and Global Football channels

Content Creation
- Create engaging content to be posted across our social channels
- Research, identify and execute new content ideas
- Plan and execute shoot days (researching venues, people coordination, equipment, logistics etc)
- Assist with the creation of content/assets for wider marketing campaigns
Ideation
- Assist in the creation of marketing concepts for the business channels across the UK
- Maintaining awareness of current market trends
Campaign Management
- Helping manage wider marketing campaigns

Requirements
- Strong photography & videography skill
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Premier Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom - After Effects is a bonus)
- Up to date with social media trends and best practices
- High attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Willing to travel (expenses paid)
- Access to a vehicle and full UK driving licence
- A self starter, comfortable working without supervision and as part of a team
- Confident & able to direct players/athletes on camera

Experience
- Content creation (2 years with examples of previous work)
- Marketing/Social media (1 year preferred but not essential)
Location
We are happy to be able to facilitate both remote working and working in the office. This will be a Nationwide role - remote working will be the norm but visits to the offices, in Somerset and Lancashire, will be required at points throughout the year.
This role will require travel to various shoots across the UK with the potential to work with Sports teams in Europe as the team grows. Most days will be work from home with around 20% of time spent traveling to shoots.
