The Job
You decide what creative gets made for our clients, brief it, and get it out the door.
Who We Are
Meta and TikTok have automated the targeting. You barely choose an audience any more, the creative does it for you. Which leaves the ad itself as the only real variable, and the gap between a brand that scales and one that stalls is what gets made, how fast, and whether anyone bothered to look at why the last one worked.
That is the job - on your accounts, you decide what gets made!
Kandidly is a paid media and creative agency in London, working with ecommerce and DTC brands turning over seven and eight figures. We have been going since 2018 and we are 16 people, still small enough that you will not disappear into an org chart. You will own the creative on your brands, brief our two editors in India, and work alongside the media buyers running the accounts.
That last part matters more than it sounds. Because we run the media as well as make the ads, you find out what happened to every brief you wrote. Most people in creative never get that. They hand something over and hear nothing. Here you find out either way, and then you get to do something about it.
The name is a play on “candidly”, and we mean it. You will get straight feedback on your work and you will be expected to give it, to our editors and to your clients, even when the news is not what they wanted to hear.
What You’ll Actually Do
Three quarters of this job is running the creative pipeline.
- Write the briefs.
- Take them to our two experienced editors in India, who have been with us a while, understand our processes, and handle static, video and CGI. You set the expectation and you give the feedback.
- Decide what gets made first, and re-prioritise when a client shifts or the numbers say something is not landing.
- Put briefs to clients and chase the ones who go quiet.
- Hand finished assets to the paid media team ready to launch.
- Run the creator side. Find the right creators for the brief using our sourcing tools and your own research on social, develop the concepts, manage outreach, then brief and review what comes back.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The other quarter is the thinking that has to happen before any of that.
- Get to know each brand properly, who buys from them and why.
- Keep an eye on what their competitors are running.
- Work to the client’s marketing calendar so the creative is ready when it needs to be.
- Pull their creative performance data and work out which hooks, formats and angles are earning the spend.
- Stay close to what is moving on Meta and TikTok, out in the market and inside our own accounts.
You will be on client calls presenting the thinking and the pipeline yourself, and you will help on new business pitches.
What This Job Is Not
We do not shoot. No studios, no crews, no shot lists, no call sheets. If what you want is to be on set, this is not for you.
There is a lot of chasing. Clients go quiet, briefs get reprioritised, and someone has to hold it all together. That someone is you.
You will not need to create any assets yourself. If you can, that is a bonus. It is not a requirement.
Experience
You will need 12 - 18 months in a role doing one of these:
- Content or social at a brand or agency, where you were briefing or coordinating creative rather than only posting it
- Paid social, where you sat close to the creative rather than only the buying
- UGC or influencer, where you were sourcing creators and briefing them
- Creative or design coordination at an agency, where you owned the queue and the deadlines
- or perhaps you are an influencer yourself but not happy with the unstable income
Three years is about the ceiling. Beyond that you may find this too hands-on.

What we are not asking for:
- Shoot or production experience.
- The ability to edit or design yourself.
- A degree in anything specific.
Who This Is For
Someone ready to move from making things happen to deciding what should happen. You will be a good fit if:
- You write clearly and precisely. A woolly brief costs our editors hours.
- You live and breathe social. You spot trends early, you have bought things off your feed more than once, and you are genuinely interested in social commerce and what makes people want to buy.
- You are organised without being chased. Deadlines and sign-offs will not slip on your watch.
- You are comfortable with analysing data. You do not need to be an analyst, but you should want to know why one ad beat another.
- You have got taste and can explain it. We will ask you to look at real ads and tell us which worked and why.
- You can hold a room. You will be the creative voice on client calls from early on.
- You receive critique / feedback well (clients can be picky).
- You can give clear feedback at distance. Experience working with colleagues or teams outside the UK is useful here.
Our editors work UK hours, so no early starts and no late calls.
What You Get
- Competitive salary, reviewed as you grow into the role
- A friendly atmosphere where you can grow and learn exciting new things
- A ÂŁ500 a year training budget to keep your skills sharp
- Hybrid working, with a laptop and home office essentials
- Private medical insurance and 25 days of annual leave, plus your birthday off
- The chance to work remotely from anywhere in the world for one month a year
- Fridays are the new Saturdays, with early finishes and plenty of social events
- A company pension scheme to plan for the future
Note: Strictly no agencies and we are unable to sponsor visas at present.
