About Scrap't

Scrap't (getscrapt.co.uk) is a fast-growing UK brand making junk journal and scrapbooking kits - beautifully designed, properly curated, loved by a community of crafters across the UK and US. We're part of a small UK ecommerce group, and Scrap't is our biggest growth focus: more kits, more launches, and a much bigger content presence. We're a deliberately small team - you'd be the third person working directly on Scrap't - so your work is visible, your ideas get heard, and there's no bureaucracy between you and the products going out the door.

Our kits are made with freelance illustrators and artists, and marketed through UGC creators and organic social. This role is the person who keeps all of those creative relationships moving.

The role

This role is for someone who wants to be involved in making new products happen - you'll work inside our new product development process from idea to launch, alongside coordinating the creative work that markets every kit. If you've ever looked at a craft kit and thought "I'd love to be the person who helps create these," this is that job.

You'll be the coordination hub between our product team and the freelance creatives who make Scrap't work - the illustrators who design our kits, and the content creators who market them. Your job is to keep every project moving: briefs out on time, artwork and content coming back on schedule, launches supported with content from day one.

You'll also run point on one of our biggest growth projects: launching Scrap't on TikTok Shop, first in the UK and then the US. TikTok Shop runs on exactly the skills this role is built around - creator outreach, sample logistics and content coordination - so you'll be at the centre of it.

The clever part of this role: our illustrators and artists love sharing what they've made when a kit launches. You'll turn every product collaboration into a marketing moment - coordinating the artist's launch posts, creator content and our own channels so each new kit arrives with momentum.

What you'll do

Creator & content coordination (~40%)

  • Find, brief and manage UGC creators: outreach, agreeing deliverables, sample sends, chasing content in on deadline
  • Brief our freelance video editor, who handles all CapCut editing for ads and organic - you supply the raw content, direction and deadlines; they cut it; you review the output
  • Manage the content calendar: what's being made, by whom, for which launch or channel
  • Review incoming content against brief and brand standards before it's used - you're the quality gate
  • Organise content into our asset library so the marketing team can find and use everything
  • Coordinate artist/illustrator launch promotion: agree posts and timing with each collaborator, supply them with assets, amplify across our channels

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

TikTok Shop launch - UK, then US (~25%)

  • Help set up and launch our TikTok Shop: product listings, shop content, launch plan (with founder/marketing direction)
  • Build and run our TikTok Shop affiliate programme: recruit creators, handle sample requests, manage commissions and relationships
  • Coordinate shoppable content and live-adjacent formats with our creator network
  • Track what's selling and which creators drive it; report simply and regularly
  • Repeat the playbook for the US market once the UK shop is running

NPD freelancer coordination (~35%)

  • Manage illustrator and artist projects end to end: briefs, timelines, feedback rounds, final file delivery
  • Keep the launch pipeline organised: every kit's artwork, components, instructions and content tracked against its launch date
  • Test product samples as a customer would; log issues and feed improvements to the Head of Product
  • Help assemble kit specs and draft instruction/inspiration sheets with our product team
  • Research trends in junk journaling and papercraft (TikTok, Pinterest, Etsy) and scout artists whose style fits the brand

Not in this role: media buying / ads account management, final product decisions, doing the illustration or design yourself, or creating and editing video content yourself - creators make the content, our freelance editor cuts it; you make sure it all happens.

What we're looking for

Must have:

  • 1-2+ years coordinating creative work: managing freelancers, creators, or production schedules (agency, brand, or creator-economy side all fine)
  • Genuinely organised: you run trackers, hit deadlines, and chase people cheerfully but relentlessly
  • Great written communication - briefing an illustrator and agreeing deliverables with a UGC creator are both writing jobs
  • Happy to hop on a call with a creator or artist when it's quicker than messaging - agreeing rates and deliverables in a friendly back-and-forth. No sales experience needed; most of this happens over DM and email anyway, but you shouldn't dread the occasional call.
  • Good creative taste and the confidence to say "this isn't right yet" to a freelancer, kindly
  • Genuine excitement about product development - you have opinions on what makes a great craft kit and want a hand in creating them. No formal NPD experience required; we'll teach you the process.
  • Real interest in craft - journaling, scrapbooking, papercraft, or the wider maker world. You should get why people love this stuff.
