About Us

NALA is building Payments for the Next Billion. Faster, smarter, and fairer transfers for everyone. Since 2022, we've grown our business 120x, grown the team from 9 to 150+, raised $50M+ from top-tier investors, and were named to the Forbes Fintech 50 in 2025 & 2026.

We operate two core products:

  • NALA, our consumer app makes cross-border payments cheaper, faster and more reliable for the global diaspora. Allowing users to send money from the UK, US and EU to Africa and Asia.
  • Rafiki, our B2B payments infrastructure, is powering global payments for global giants like MoneyGram & Western Union.

Our team includes alumni from Wise, Stripe, Monzo, Revolut, and CashApp, operators who've scaled world-class products. We act with urgency, think deeply, and put our customers first always.

At NALA, this isn't just a job. It's ownership, impact, and the chance to change global payments forever.

Join us in building Payments for the Next Billion.

Your Mission

Our marketing team turns a fast-moving product into a brand people trust and talk about. Your mission is to make NALA impossible to ignore across the markets we serve: to give our launches a look and a story that stops the scroll, builds brand consistency where there's none today, and turns creative output into measurable reach, engagement, and growth across 25+ social pages and ~20 markets.

Your Responsibilities in this Role

  • Own the look of all marketing output (website, social, paid ads, CRM) and bring brand consistency where there's none today.
  • Turn product launches into on-brand campaigns: own the story, the hook, and the narrative.
  • Ship across our 25+ social pages and build + iterate paid assets across ~20 markets, learning fast from what converts.
  • Adapt creative per market (Kenyan, Tanzanian, Nigerian, Filipino and beyond) for audiences that are diverse, not one country or one culture.
  • Direct video end to end: storyboard, look, typography, motion, pacing.
  • Create illustration and visual assets: icons, illustrations, characters, backgrounds, 3D.
  • Deliver print-ready artwork for large format: brief printers, check proofs, ship clean files.
  • Turn requests around fast: small asks same day, campaigns in days.
  • Review other teams' assets for brand alignment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Must-have requirements

  • Strong portfolio with 3-4 years minimum, including paid ads and branding work.
  • Fluent in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, plus AI design tools (Higgsfield, OpenArt). Prompting skill matters more than which tool you reach for.
  • Comfortable creating and editing video, including with AI.
  • Native fluency in social. You can break down why something went viral, then rebuild it for us, with a real body of work you've posted and watched perform.
  • Proactive by default: spots the gap, makes the thing, brings it unasked.
  • Takes feedback as fuel: shares early, comes back with options instead of a defence.
  • Sharp communication, high attention to detail, and turns data into creative calls.
  • Fast: small asks same day, campaigns in days.

Nice to have requirements

  • Content that's gone viral or driven measurable growth.
  • Genuinely likes the making: chases ideas, tries untested formats, is wrong in public sometimes.
  • Restless with tools: tests new models on your own time and reports back.
  • Experience designing for African and Asian audiences, and an eye for what's funny and native in those social cultures.

Success in the role looks like

  • At least one product launch taken from brief to on-brand campaign across social and paid.

6-Month Metrics

  • Paid and performance assets iterated across ~20 markets with a clear read on what converts.
  • Downloads from organic content up on baseline, with zero spend behind it.
  • Brand guidelines applied consistently across our highest-traffic social pages and core paid channels.
  • A library of reusable brand, video, and illustration assets that raises the quality bar for the whole team.
