Creative Designer

Automotive

A Creative Designer is required to join a Warwick-based OEM, you will be part of a design team working on some niche EVs for the global market.

You will join the UK design facility who are undertaking some new vehicle projects and require a Designer on a contract basis (Outside IR35).

You'll need to be strong graphically while also having proven skills utilizing Blender for development on both exterior and some interior design work.

As Creative Designer, you will be required to:

  • Participate in the design development of niche vehicle programs
  • Utilize design skills for initially exterior and some interior design ideas
  • Demonstrate good sketching ability, forward-looking creative design ideas, strong integration of vehicle and creative design ideas
  • Build the basic volume model by using Blender to guide the work of the digital model division
  • Work alongside the digital modeling team in the development of your design project

As Creative Designer, you will have:

  • Degree qualified and proven industry experience in automotive exterior and interior design
  • Excellent portfolio demonstrating high-quality sketching work
  • An established user of Blender
  • Must be versatile in designing all aspects of exteriors and some interiors, including overall vehicle proportion down to small detailing
