ABOUT US
We are an award-winning creative studio with a laser focus on science and technology brands. We bring strategic depth, bold creative, and award-winning production, honed in entertainment and B2C advertising, to innovators and scientists who want their stories told with clarity, ambition, and cultural resonance.
Our work spans Creative Strategy, Campaigns, Content, Web, Branding, and more. Born from the explosion of “frontier” brands; businesses that are redefining the boundaries of their categories in science and technology - Boulder is a new type of creative studio. Faster. More agile. More entrepreneurial. Bullsh*t free and able to turn complex offerings into compelling stories and strategies – with one aim, fame for our clients.
From the start, our mission has been to provide smart businesses with a creative partner who cares about their world as much as they do. Our secret sauce is our world-class design and motion production studio, meaning we’re always innovating new ways to tell brand stories, and that quality and cost do not have to be a trade-off. While our 20+ strong team care deeply about the work, we also care about each other. We’re a home for kind, creative people, always encouraging each other's passions and facilitating an environment for personal progress. In 2024 we were recognized as a Sunday Time ‘Best Place to Work’, and this year voted no.23 of The Drums Top Independent Global Agencies. We offer a competitive benefits package that can be made available upon request.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced middle-weight Creative Designer to join the Boulder Creative Studios team. Ideally, a candidate who considers themselves part brand designer, part art director with the design skills to visualize bold concepts and stunning visuals, and set the standard for delivery – whether it be a new brand, a 3D animation, or an immersive experience. You’ll be expected to jump in early on pitches and briefs, roll out design systems, and help shape the visual direction with precision and care. You’ll storyboard ideas, produce visual treatments, create pitch decks, and design for brand, digital, and sometimes motion - whatever it takes to bring the idea to life. You’ll be part of a small, ambitious creative team, so versatility, curiosity, and reliability are key.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
