FIRSTLY, WHO ARE WE?
BARK is one of the most globally recognised performance partners to consumer eCommerce brands. We sit at the intersection of performance marketing, creative, technology and data, helping ambitious brands grow through brilliant creative thinking, consumer psychology, performance insight and an understanding of what actually makes people stop, watch and buy.
BARK sits within Consumed Group, alongside Aura, our performance creative agency. Together, we work across creative, paid media, strategy and data science.
We've built an exceptional creative team with incredibly high standards. People who care deeply about ideas, craft and making work that looks brilliant, but who are also constantly experimenting with new ways to make it.
Our team is already using advanced AI workflows across image, video, motion and production, and we're investing heavily in staying at the forefront of what's possible. You'll be joining people who are genuinely excited about where creativity is going and are actively helping shape it.
WHY IS THIS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY?
We think this is an incredibly exciting time to be a creative. The possibilities for bringing an idea to life are expanding almost every week. Things that previously required a shoot, a 3D artist or days of production can increasingly be explored in hours. New tools allow creatives to take bigger swings, try more ideas and spend more of their energy on the thing that matters most: the idea itself.
That's what excites us about AI. Not making creativity cheaper. Not replacing craft. Giving brilliant creative people an increasingly powerful set of ways to express what is in their heads. We're looking for someone with exceptional creative instinct and a brilliant design eye. Someone whose work just feels considered, interesting and visually great.
You might obsess over a typeface, notice when something is two pixels out, or immediately see how an ordinary piece of footage could become something much more interesting. But you're also curious.
If a new image model, video tool or workflow gives you another way to bring an idea to life, you'll want to play with it. You'll be joining a team that already works this way, sharing workflows, experimenting constantly and pushing each other creatively.
THE ROLE
We're looking for an exceptional Motion & Graphic Designer to make brilliant, high-performing advertising for some of the world's most exciting consumer brands.
At the heart of the role is creativity. We want someone who can look at a brief and see possibilities. Someone who can take an okay idea and make it great. Someone who has their own ideas. Someone with enough taste and craft that whatever they touch gets better. Sometimes you'll create beautifully polished motion. Sometimes the best idea will be a scrappy, native-feeling TikTok ad. Sometimes you'll take a winning piece of creative and find ten interesting new ways to explore it. And sometimes you'll have something in your head that would traditionally have been difficult or expensive to make, and use new technology to bring it to life that same day.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You'll work alongside Creative Strategists, other designers, content creators and media buyers, with a direct feedback loop between the work we make and how people respond to it. We want you contributing to the idea, not simply receiving it.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Creating brilliant motion and static advertising across Meta, TikTok and other platforms
- Turning strategic briefs into visually exciting creative
- Bringing your own ideas, references, formats and visual approaches into the work
- Taking successful creative and finding new ways to push and evolve it
- Moving between beautifully polished design and more native, culturally relevant social creative
- Working across motion, typography, imagery, product, UGC and graphic design
- Using performance insight to understand what audiences respond to and inspire what you make next
- Using AI image, video and creative tools naturally alongside After Effects, Photoshop and the rest of your toolkit
- Experimenting with new technology and developing new creative workflows alongside the rest of the team
- Sharing discoveries, techniques and ideas so we collectively keep getting better
- Staying close to great advertising, design, culture, social trends and emerging creative formats
WHO YOU ARE
First and foremost, you're really creative. You have great taste and a strong point of view. The things you make look good. Not because someone has given you a perfectly prescriptive brand guideline, but because you understand typography, composition, movement, hierarchy, colour, pacing and all the tiny decisions that make something feel right.
You'll probably have:
- An exceptional portfolio full of work that makes us wish we'd made it
- Strong motion and graphic design craft
- An excellent eye for typography, composition, pacing and visual detail
- Original ideas and the ability to develop them rather than simply execute somebody else's
- Experience creating advertising, ideally for consumer or eCommerce brands
- An understanding of what works on Meta, TikTok and social more broadly
- The ability to think strategically about what you're creating and why
- Strong After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator skills, or equivalent
- Experience experimenting with generative image, video or creative technology
- Curiosity about new tools and a tendency to try things for yourself
- The ability to move comfortably between very different brands and visual styles
- High standards without being precious about how you get to the result
- The confidence to have an opinion and the collaborative instinct to make other people's ideas better too

We don't expect you to know every AI tool. Half the tools we'll be using in a year's time may not exist yet. What matters is that when something new opens up creatively, your instinct is to wonder: What could I make with that?
HOW WE WORK
- Creativity comes first. Technology should expand what we can imagine and make, not dictate it.
- Great taste matters. We care about the tiny details that turn something competent into something brilliant.
- Ideas get better together. Challenge them, add to them and help other people make their work better.
- Technology is creative leverage. Our team is already building advanced workflows around emerging tools, and we'll keep pushing what's possible together.
- Performance matters. Great advertising should look brilliant and achieve something.
- Keep learning. Design changes. Culture changes. Technology changes. That's part of what makes the job interesting.
THIS PROBABLY ISN'T THE ROLE FOR YOU IF...
- You prefer being given an exact execution rather than contributing creatively
- You don't have a strong opinion about what looks good
- You only enjoy one particular style or type of design
- You're uninterested in whether the creative you make actually performs
- You have little curiosity about how new technology could expand what you're able to create
- You prefer sticking to established workflows rather than experimenting with better ones
WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU
- An exceptional creative team with very high standards and very little ego
- The chance to work alongside people already pushing hard at the intersection of design, AI and performance creative
- Advanced AI workflows, tools and shared learning rather than having to figure everything out alone
- The freedom to experiment with new technology and help shape how we use it
- The opportunity to see ambitious creative ideas become real much faster than traditional production often allows
- Huge autonomy and trust
- A genuine voice in what we make and how we make it
- A direct feedback loop between your work and real commercial performance
- Exposure to ambitious eCommerce brands and a huge volume of creative learning
- Hybrid working
- Performance-based bonus scheme
- 25 days' holiday
- Learning and development support
- NEST pension scheme
- Work MacBook and the tools you need to do your best work
We're building a creative team for where the industry is going. A team of people with great ideas, incredible taste and an ever-expanding ability to bring those ideas to life. We think that makes right now an unusually exciting time to be a creative. If you do too, we'd love to hear from you.
