About the Role

The Creative team provides customers with original, relevant, and contemporary visuals. Through an industry-unique combination of consumer research, proprietary data, and three decades of trend reporting experience, the team delivers actionable insights that guide customers to the visual content that connects with consumers. Closely collaborating with our contributor base of photographers, videographers, and illustrators around the world, the team develops market-leading, authentic, and differentiated content.

  • You have a strong creative vision and a deep understanding of videography and the visual landscape.
  • You are an effective communicator with experience in creative industries, proficient at connecting with and influencing image and video-makers.
  • You have a keen eye for identifying talented individuals and recruiting videographers who are well-suited for stock content.
  • Passionate about Diversity & Inclusion, you bring diverse perspectives to your work.
  • A self-starter, you work autonomously and collaboratively, leading and managing multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

As a Creative Development Manager specializing in Video, you will:

  • Support the creator community by engaging, inspiring, and educating them to produce high-quality work that meets customer needs, while also supporting our global video strategy.
  • Reporting to the regional creative lead, lead and manage your projects and collaborate with Creative Insights, Creator Relations, Custom Content, and Creator Engagement in EMEA, as well as Marketing, PR, and Sales teams, to deliver relevant local content.

Your Next Challenge

  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with videographers to inspire and produce high-end regional commercial content.
  • Regularly communicate content needs and provide creative direction to creators via email, Discord, and Zoom, guiding them from concept to execution.
  • Identify and recruit new talent from within the Americas creator portfolios as well as from external sources.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop new content ideas.
  • Oversee multiple projects from planning to delivery, ensuring timely completion.
  • Providing creative and technical feedback and support to creators, enhancing their skills, shoots, art direction, and overall content quality.
  • Curate and review creative assets to meet differentiation standards and customer needs.
  • Promote and showcase creative work internally and externally both verbally and written, including occasional customer meetings and presentations.
  • Write creative briefs and shoot spotlight articles.
  • Organize and run frequent webinars for creator engagement and video education.
  • Support Curation & Promotion and Marketing teams with video highlights and showreels of best content.
  • Analyze and interpret data/metrics to inform video creative strategy.
  • Develop and implement a forward-thinking video strategy that aligns with overall business objectives, anticipating industry trends and positioning the team for long-term success.
  • Serve as a thought leader for video within the organization, driving innovation by sharing insights, best practices, and emerging opportunities to elevate our creative approach and market presence.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in visual or creative media.
  • Expertise in videography, with experience in video production, art direction, and shoot management.
  • 7+ years of experience in visual communications; advertising or production.
  • Strong creative vision and ability to create compelling content.
  • Experience leading or mentoring creative teams or individuals.
  • Awareness of current trends in video production, content creation, and visual storytelling.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and inspiring creators and customers.
  • Experience in negotiation, relationship building, and community management.
  • Knowledge of the visual market and content creation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proactive in sharing ideas and solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide creative solutions.
  • Proficiency with PC/Mac, MS Office, project management tools, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to independently manage projects from ideation to delivery.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies.
