Creative Manager - Design

Job Title: Creative Manager - Design

Location: London City

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full Time, Hybrid

Salary: Up to £65,000 DOE

Our client is a leading player in talent advisory and solutions, dedicated to connecting people with work and empowering businesses across the UK & Ireland. They are passionate about creating impactful narratives and are now seeking a dynamic Creative Manager - Design to elevate their brand voice and visual storytelling.

Role Overview

As the Creative Manager - Design, you will be at the forefront of crafting compelling visual narratives that resonate with clients and candidates alike. This role is pivotal in developing engaging content that drives business outcomes and enhances the organisation's brand identity across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy Support: Assist in the development and execution of a robust content strategy that aligns with the organisation's marketing and business objectives.
  • Message & Narrative Creation: Create audience-centric messaging for diverse purposes, including sales-driven campaigns, thought leadership pieces, and product-focused content.
  • Multi-Channel Content Production: Produce high-quality written and visual content for various channels, including websites, blogs, email campaigns, social media, case studies, and more.
  • Marketing Automation Integration: Develop compelling content for marketing automation funnels to nurture leads and guide prospects through their buyer journey.
  • Brand Voice & Consistency: Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent and engaging voice across all communications.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with sales teams, product specialists, and other marketing functions to gather insights and validate messaging.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimisation: Analyse content performance metrics to inform future strategies and continuously optimise for greater impact.
  • Industry & Market Insight: Stay informed about recruitment industry trends to ensure content remains relevant and impactful.
  • Lead the development of more sophisticated creative outputs, including animation, motion graphics and advanced design concepts, raising the overall quality and impact of visual communications.
  • Act as the team's subject matter expert for animation and motion design, sharing best practice and upskilling designers to enhance creative capability across the function.
  • Mentor and develop mid-level designers, providing guidance, constructive feedback and creative direction to help elevate both their technical skills and strategic thinking.
  • Foster a culture of creativity and innovation, encouraging the team to think beyond briefs and develop fresh, engaging concepts that align with business objectives.
  • Help shape and evolve the visual direction of the Adecco brand, ensuring all creative output reflects a consistent look, feel and tone across multiple channels and audiences.
  • Provide creative leadership across marketing initiatives, establishing design standards and ensuring work is aligned to the broader brand vision and future direction.

Essential Skills and Experience

Our client is seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5+ years in a creative role within a marketing department, ideally within the recruitment, talent solutions, or B2B services sector.
  • Creative Expertise: A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional art direction and campaign development across both digital and traditional channels.
  • Brand Acumen: Proven ability to develop and evolve brand identities in a multi-brand environment.
  • Digital Marketing Savvy: Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and understanding of how creative supports digital sales funnels.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts effectively.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate business objectives into creative strategies and actionable campaign plans.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Adaptability: Strong project management skills and the ability to adapt to evolving priorities.
