At Audible, we believe stories have the power to transform lives. It’s why we work with some of the world’s leading creators to produce and share audio storytelling with our millions of global listeners. We are dreamers and inventors who come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences to empower and inspire each other. Imagine your future with us.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As the Creative Director at Audible, you will be a critical part of our creative team and overall business. As the creative lead in our UK hub, you will work closely with partners across the company to translate strategic briefs into bold, fresh, culturally resonant creative. You will develop and deliver work across every customer channel and touchpoint, from original content campaigns to product launches and major brand initiatives. You will balance a globally minded vision, aligning with counterparts and peers across markets, with local relevance and nuance. Your leadership will be seen in the mentoring of junior teams, partnership with agencies, and in your own direct creative contributions. You will lead the creative concepting, development and production of 360-degree campaigns for Audible Originals, Exclusives and third-party titles, including title key art, live action shoots, trailers and print. You will manage projects across their life cycle, from pitch to post-production. You will inspire and motivate your team, shepherding creative at all stages while providing guidance and direction.

ABOUT YOU

You are a driven, passionate creative at heart—a leader with the vision to help shape a brand’s evolution and the craft to execute it with excellence. You live and breathe culture and know how to make a brand stand out while staying true to its core values. You have deep experience in entertainment marketing as well as brand-forward campaigns. You understand how to balance global brand consistency with local cultural nuance. You anticipate production needs and manage workflows to achieve results while ensuring work is delivered on-time and on-budget. You are a hands-on leader who inspires teams and partners to push boundaries, delivering work that is strategically smart, emotionally compelling, and visually exceptional.

As the Creative Director, you will…

  • Define the overarching creative strategy for one or more marketing programs, leading internal and external teams to concept, develop, and execute 360-degree campaigns in support of Audible Originals, Exclusives and third-party titles across owned and paid channels, all platforms, and all media
  • Directly contribute to the development of high-impact brand campaigns, product launches, activations, and initiatives that build awareness and affinity for Audible
  • Focus on campaigns originating in the UK, with potential to expand to the Australian market and emerging markets
  • Direct and guide writing and production of key campaign assets including talent-led celebrity scripts, trailers, social-first executions, live action shoots, and key art
  • Guide and select external agency partners, directing their creative output at the highest level of craft while managing celebrity talent and high-profile partners across campaign milestones
  • Lead campaign presentations and pitches with internal and external partners, talent, and leadership, clearly articulating creative vision, strategy, and business rationale
  • Drive creative alignment across cross-functional stakeholders, influencing priorities and tactical elements owned by adjacent teams to ensure cohesive brand storytelling
  • Manage a high volume of overlapping projects and complex requests, effectively prioritizing across and up the organization while making creative trade-off decisions that balance team, business, and customer needs
  • Develop and optimize creative workflows and production processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency, building mechanisms that support long-term operational excellence
  • Integrate cultural insights, audience research, and performance data into creative strategies, synthesizing disparate inputs into compelling campaign ideas and creative territories
  • Lead by example—mentoring and developing junior creatives, inspiring teams and partners to push boundaries, experiment, and challenge the status quo

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
