Description

This role can be based in London, Paris or Madrid.

Amazon XCM EU is seeking a Creative Director with exceptional visual and art direction craft to join the EU Creative team. This role anchors the visual identity and storytelling of Amazon’s brand and Prime campaigns across EU markets. You will work from the earliest stages of the creative process, ensuring ideas are conceived natively for digital, social and vertical video rather than adapted downstream. You will bring visual leadership to a concept-strong creative team, translating brand thinking into compelling motion-led and social-native creative designed specifically for EU audiences.

The ideal candidate is a digital-native creative leader who consistently raises the bar for visual storytelling across brand campaigns. A strong understanding of multi-market storytelling is essential, ensuring work resonates across EU marketplaces rather than relying solely on adaptation of global campaigns.

Given the scope of EU marketing activity, multi-language and multi-cultural experience is strongly valued.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead visual and art direction for brand campaigns and marketing initiatives to deliver exceptional creative work across digital, social and video channels
  • Create and lead end-to-end creative development—from concept and storytelling through to execution—across digital, broadcast, social, print, and out-of-home channels.
  • Raise the creative bar by leading creative reviews, mentoring teams, and establishing clear feedback loops, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the in-house model.
  • Translate campaign ideas into scalable visual systems, templates and motion frameworks that enable consistent execution across EU marketplaces
  • Partner closely with concept and copy creative leaders to bring campaign ideas to life visually from the earliest stages of development
  • Ensure creative ideas are developed with EU markets in mind, supporting localisation-native execution across multiple marketplaces
  • Deliver bar-raising visual storytelling that connects brand thinking to customer impact
  • Ensure creative concepts scale effectively across formats, channels and territories while maintaining strong visual consistency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across marketing, product and category teams to deliver customer-focused creative solutions
  • Guide production teams and creative partners to ensure visual concepts are executed to the highest creative standard
  • Stay closely connected to emerging digital platforms, social formats and storytelling techniques

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
