General Description
Join a fast-growing digital-first organization in the UAE looking to strengthen its brand positioning, messaging, and overall creative direction.
We are looking for an experienced Creative Director / Brand Strategist to work closely alongside the CMO, bringing together strategic thinking, creative ideation, brand positioning, messaging development, and competitor analysis.
This is a strategy-led creative role rather than a purely visual Creative Director or Art Director position. We are specifically looking for someone who can develop compelling ideas, shape how the brand communicates, and translate business and marketing objectives into clear, differentiated, and impactful brand narratives.
A major focus of the role will be developing and refining the Messaging Framework, ensuring the brand has a clear positioning, value proposition, narrative, tone of voice, and communication hierarchy across audiences and channels.
The successful candidate will also bring strong capability in competitor analysis and strategic brand thinking, identifying how competitors position themselves, where the organization can differentiate, and how those insights can translate into stronger creative and messaging opportunities.
This opportunity is open to both Senior and Mid-Senior professionals with strong relevant experience and exceptional English-language communication skills.
This is a rolling contract / freelance engagement, working remotely and aligned with UAE working hours / timezone.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the CMO as a strategic and creative partner, helping shape brand direction, positioning, messaging, and creative ideas
- Develop and refine the overall brand messaging framework, ensuring consistency and clarity across communications
- Define and strengthen brand positioning, value propositions, key messages, brand narratives, and tone of voice
- Translate business, brand, and marketing objectives into compelling creative strategies, concepts, campaigns, and communication ideas
- Generate original creative ideas that strengthen brand differentiation and audience engagement
- Conduct detailed competitor and market analysis, reviewing competitor positioning, messaging, propositions, campaigns, and communication strategies
- Identify competitive gaps, white-space opportunities, and areas of differentiation that can strengthen the organization's market position
- Develop strategic recommendations based on customer, market, category, and competitor insights
- Create clear messaging hierarchies tailored to different audiences, propositions, channels, and marketing objectives
- Support the development of campaign concepts, brand narratives, creative briefs, content direction, and communication strategy
- Ensure creative ideas and executions remain aligned with wider brand strategy and commercial objectives
- Present and articulate creative and strategic recommendations clearly to the CMO and other senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with marketing, content, design, digital, and other relevant teams to translate strategy into effective execution
- Provide strategic creative guidance throughout the development and delivery of brand and marketing initiatives

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
