Job Description
This role can be based in our New York City, San Francisco, Sunnyvale, or Mountain View office.
At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The Creative team is looking for a Creative Director, Copy to help define how LinkedIn shows up in the world.
This is a role for someone who leads with ideas. Writing is your craft, but your impact comes from how you shape thinking, build narratives, and push work to a higher standard.
You’ll work across brand and marketing to turn insight into creative that connects with real people, work that feels clear, human, and culturally relevant.
Responsibilities:
- Translate strategy and insight into creative platforms, campaigns, and narratives
- Lead concept development from the earliest stages through execution
- Write and oversee copy across channels—brand, marketing, video, and more
- Shape and evolve LinkedIn’s voice, ensuring it feels consistent, human, and distinctive
- Work side by side with design, strategy, and marketing from the very beginning—co-creating ideas, shaping briefs, and influencing the direction of the work before it’s defined
- Push for simplicity and clarity, especially in how we express complex or abstract ideas
- Bring others into the work early—aligning, influencing, and elevating ideas so the best thinking wins
- Present creative with clarity and conviction, helping teams and stakeholders see not just what works, but what’s worth making
- Mentor and guide writers, raising the bar for thinking, craft, and creative ambition across the team

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
