About Rewriting Earth

Rewriting Earth is a fast-moving charity with a unique mission: to make caring for animals and the planet mainstream and cool again. We work with everyone from content creators to influencers and celebrities to produce engaging campaigns that reach new audiences and shift perspectives on the climate crisis. With hundreds of millions of views, changes to laws and practices and multiple behaviour-change wins under our belt, we’ve proven our impact.

Now, we’re ready to scale our work - helping organisations, animals, activists and groups tell their story and attain tangible impact across the world. That’s where you come in.

The Role: Creative Director

Salary: £45,363 - £47,631 per annum

Hours: 35 hrs a week, flexible & fully remote (UK only)

This senior role sits at the heart of how Rewriting Earth operates and grows. You'll work closely with our CEO to create the blueprint for growth. You’ll be working to define and deliver the partnerships, clients, campaigns, team structure and methods we use to help combat climate collapse and save our natural world.

This role will touch on every aspect of what we do. How our work presents itself, how it feels as an audience to receive it, how our team operates, the clients and funders we work with and what opportunities might sit on the horizon for us. You'll be the connective tissue between our creative vision and the external world.

Key Responsibilities

Charity profile and market position

  • Work closely with the CEO and team to define, refine and deliver a strategy for the charity, across all channels and partnerships - to position Rewriting Earth as a leading voice in environmental communications
  • Identify, develop and manage relationships with funders, clients, charity partners, talent, creators and collaborators
  • Define and enact a strategy for key partnerships, funders, clients and talent to enable us to gain the largest possible impact (e.g. law changes, public opinions & actions, business strategies & impacts)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
